RESERVATIONS

Reservations are dependent on Slingshot® availability and are accepted through our website booking or by telephone.

slingshot (Autocycle) info

All units are equipped with automatic transmission, GPS Navigation, Aux/Bluetooth mobile phone connection, upgraded stereo, driver safety helmet, and available GoPro action camera (video footage provided for additional cost). Passenger safety helmet will be provided (upon request for additional cost).

Security Deposit

A $250 refundable security deposit is required at time of booking your vehicle. For the rental of additional items for your booking (camera and passenger helmet), there will be additional refundable security deposits. Refund requests are submitted to your bank or card issuer. Depending on your bank, the refund will appear as a credit 5-10 business days later.

Pick up Process

Please arrive 20-30 minutes prior to your reservation time. Bring your valid driver’s license and insurance card for additional on-site verification in order to leave with the vehicle.

When you arrive, there is a short checkout process, including safety/safe driving instruction and then you are ready to go.

DOT certified helmets are required to operate our slingshots. All drivers and passengers must wear helmets, eye protection, and seat belts at all times during operation of the slingshot. A rental driver helmet is included with the slingshot booking; however, please feel free to bring your own DOT certified helmet(s) for yourself and your passenger (if applicable).

To rent a passenger helmet, an additional $10 fee will be required. Renters will not be allowed to take possession of the vehicle without the possession of DOT certified helmet(s) and eye protection.

Standard Operating policies

Slingshots® are to be driven only on paved roads. Absolutely no off road driving or driving on gravel or dirt roads.

NO burnouts, donuts, or speeding will be tolerated. Proof or evidence of any of the following will result in a charge for replacement tire and installation.

Your slingshot will be provided with a full tank of PREMIUM fuel. At the end of the rental, units must be refueled with PREMIUM fuel upon return. There is a fee of $50 per unit not refueled.

Please report any mechanical problems to us immediately. Customers may be held responsible for mechanical damage by not adhering to inspecting the slingshot before you ride it. If it has a flat or leak do not ride it. Treat the slingshot like it is your own.

There will be a $275.00 replacement fee for lost vehicle key. There will be a $50.00 replacement fee for gas caps - they are not tethered to the slingshot.

You are responsible if you get a ticket while driving the slingshot and this includes parking and tolls.

Flat tires are not covered. Towing is not covered unless there is a mechanical issue.

Insurance

In the event that any damages occur to the vehicle while in my possession, the total damage repair cost will be deducted from the security deposit. Additionally, any costs associated with damages that exceed the full security deposit amount, will be fully my responsibility up to and including the total cost required to repair the vehicle damage.

All coverage and waivers are subject to the terms and conditions of the rental contract and do not include coverage for property, personal or otherwise, or damage as a result of negligence on the part of the renter or passenger for any illegal use of the slingshot or its use under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If you are ill, or sick, or on any prescription or over the counter medication you cannot operate our slingshot.
